Butte Creek Organic Pale Ale is a light American Style Pale Ale. Like all Butte Creek beers, this is brewed with organic hops and malt to craft a beer that is as pleasing to the taste buds and yet in harmony with the environment. Relatively mild for a pale ale, this beer has a well rounded flavor that lets the drinker savor both the delicious malt flavors and the generous hop freshness it exudes.

Butte Creek Organic Pale Ale is coppery golden in color with a frothy white head. The initial flavor feel that arrests the senses are a result of the lavish use of Organic Pale, Caramel-60, Carapils, and Wheat malts that are used to provide that slightly bready flavor and give the beer its unique full body and creamy mouth feel. After experiencing the malt, one becomes aware of the robust hop presence brought about by the use of Organic Nugget and Organic Cascade hops.

While that may be enough for some, it isn’t for us! To create a crescendo of taste we dry hop once again with even more Organic Cascade hops to give this Organic Pale Ale its delightful fragrant aroma and the well balanced taste it is renowned for. At 5.5% ABV, this Pale Ale is a delight that can be repeatedly relished.

Porter is a dark 18th century ale that originated in foggy London town and is descended from brown beer. The name “Porter” was the result of this beer style being a favorite among street and river porters at that time. Those hardy workers loved a strong, dark, robust ale which had a full body and crisp finish which was just the thing to give them a boost after a long day’s work. We believe that the porters of yesteryear would love our porter beer just as much as the drinkers of today do. Butte Creek Organic Porter is brewed with Organic Pale, Wheat, Caramel-120, and Chocolate malts along with Organic Nugget and Organic Cascade hops to produce the finest beer possible.

Butte Creek Organic Porter pours into the pint dark brown, almost black in color. Porters are honest ales, they taste like they look . Rich, dark and chocolaty, with not so subtle undertones of caramel and coffee. But unlike its dour dusky look, it flows through the mouth with a velvety smooth texture, and finishes with just a hint of hop crispness derived from traditional aroma hops. Coming in at 6.0% ABV, this is a powerful porter that can be enjoyed with bangers and mash, a hearty meal or even paired with a fine dessert.
