Our State of the Art Breweries

Mendocino Brewing Company is internationally renowned as a brewer of full-flavored, traditional ales. The company was established in 1983 as California's first Brewpub at Hopland and is recognized as a pioneer in the American Craft Brewing renaissance. We have two state-of-the-art breweries, one at Ukiah, 110 miles north of San Francisco and the other at Saratoga Springs, NY.

From very small beginnings in 1983, the Mendocino Brewing Company has grown from the Craft Brewpub status, to becoming in 2009 the 30th largest Craft Brewer in the United States, 6th largest Craft Brewer in the state of California. Sales volumes now exceed 75,000 barrels (that's over 1,000,000 case equivalence) with distribution in 43 states. Mendocino Brewing Company products are distributed through a network of 44 wholesalers in 14 states in the western region of the United States.

Olde Saratoga Brewing Company, our East Coast brewery, is located in historical Saratoga Springs, New York. Established in 1997, it is the fourth largest brewery in New York State and produces over 30 different types of high quality and freshest craft brewed ales and lagers in that area.

Mendocino Brewing Company supports the growth of craft brewing industry and brews on contract the wide varity of unique craft beers of other craft beer enthusiasts. Mendocino Brewing also brews its range of Organic products and also brews on contract organic products for other brewers. Mendocino Brewing Company products are distributed through a network of 92 wholesalers in 29 states and DC in the Eastern region of the United States.
