Mendocino Brewing Company proudly announces the release of our Red Tail Lager. Inspired by the legendary 'Spirit of the Hawk', our product symbolizes the vision and determination to create and enjoy a full flavored lager beer.

Lighter in body than our Red Tail Ale, Red Tail Lager is fermented at low temperatures using our traditional lager yeast. “It took 21 years to make a lager worthy of the Red Tail name. Red Tail Lager has a rich refreshing flavor with a smooth light feel and a clean and crisp sweet finish.”

Red Tail Lager was introduced in April 2005 and is now available in 24 bottle cases and 6 pack cartons. Red Tail Lager is a hand crafted medium body lager with an ABV of 4.5%. It's red in color, with a snow white head, lightly hopped, rich refreshing flavor, and a clean and crisp sweet finish.
